Toymaker's Demo Tape
Toymaker has a demo tape that is available for purchase!!!
For a mere $6, we'll mail you a copy of Toymaker's latest demo, which
is currently be shopped to the major labels. The tape includes 8 songs
from their latest sessions. The basic tracks for 16 songs were recorded
before the money ran out. You get Toymaker here as a "diamond in the
rough". The vocals are scratch tracks, and these aren't polished mixes,
so don't expect some glitzy product. It starts with an instrumental done
at David's former 8 track home recording studio, the "Snack Bar".
The last track was done by David on a 4 track Tascam PortaOne Ministudio!!!
The B side will feature some interesting tracks, like live cuts, song ideas (we call 'em "morsels) and home demo versions of the tunes. So $6 is not too much to ask for what amounts to a box set, especially considering that we're talking about a band that is about to make it, so hop on the bandwagon now!!!!
